Does it mean that Budapest supports separatism?" wrote Klimkin. "We immediately sent a note of protest demanding that this provocation be banned! We are sure that Hungary will continue to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine," the minister wrote.

As reported earlier, on September 25, President Poroshenko signed the law "On Education," language provisions thereof (Article 7 on the language of command in Ukrainian schools) sparked concern among several EU states: Poland, Romania, Hungary, Greece, and Bulgaria.

The new law in Ukraine introduces a 12-year secondary education, while Ukrainian, the only state language, becomes the language of instruction in education facilities.
