Zelensky Meet with a billionaire Jack ma in Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with co-founder of Alibaba Group Jack Ma.
“We have very ambitious goals. We want to completely reboot Ukraine so that people like you appear in the country,” the Head of State said during a meeting.
Volodymyr Zelensky added that young people who wanted changes and were willing to make the country attractive for investment had come to power in Ukraine.
In particular, he spoke of the project "A State in a Smartphone" and stressed that transformation of Ukraine into a successful country was impossible without digital technologies.
The Head of State also expressed interest in joint educational projects, in particular in the area of information technology, as Ukraine seeks to create a competitive IT product.
According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian state can offer many interesting business opportunities for investors, in particular for Alibaba.
Over the past years, more than 100 R&D centers of well-known global companies, such as Samsung, Boeing, Ericsson, Huawei, Oracle, Siemens, have been opened in Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelensky offered Jack Ma to consider opening such a center in Ukraine to strengthen Alibaba's work in the European region.
