Ukrainian Volunteer Day: Zelensky congratulated the Patriots and signed the law
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the Patriots on the Day of Ukrainian Volunteer, which is celebrated on March 14.
The head of state emphasized that it is extremely important to preserve the memory of volunteer heroes.
"As long as the memory of those who made the first courageous step in defense of Ukraine during a difficult time for her, who gave her most precious - her life, until the will to fight for our future, the future of our children", - he said.
The President said he had signed a law on amending certain legislative acts of Ukraine on granting status and social guarantees to individuals from among the participants of the anti-terrorist operation, which was approved by the Verkhovna Rada on December 4, 2019.
