President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the decision to dismiss Ihor Bondarenko, Zakarpattia RSA Head, and Markiyan Malsky, Lviv RSA Head, due to lack of results.

"Not because they are inexperienced or corrupt people, but because we have not seen any results in these two regions. That is why I want to thank Head of Zakarpattia RSA Ihor Bondarenko and Head of Lviv RSA Markiyan Malsky,” the Head of State noted during a meeting of the Council for Development of Communities and Territories.

Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Ukraine faced a difficult situation with human resources because of the low salaries of many officials at the local level, in particular, of heads of regional state administrations.

"When we chose you, we realized it was a challenge. I understand that some of you have worked for four months, some of you - for three, someone has just started working. But we have told that we would be watching you. We understand that none of you takes bribes. This is a very important point. But we still need concrete results, because we can evaluate your work only by the results,” the President emphasized.
