Ukraine in Arabic | The Ukrainian-Russian border remains uncontrolled

The state border with Russia passes through the territories temporarily controlled by bandit groups. KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Ukrainian border guards do not currently control more than 400 kilometers of their country's border with Russia, Ukrainian State Border Guard Service chief Viktor Nazarenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Nov. 28.
"We currently do not control 409.3 kilometers of the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border, which passes fully in Donetsk region and partly in Luhansk region," he said.
He said that direct and indirect actions of Russia remained the main factor of influence on border security.
He noted that the Russian side was not fulfilling agreements on border issues, but was supplying military equipment, weapons and mercenaries to Donbas and carrying out information warfare and sabotage activities.
