Ukraine in Arabic | The meeting of the Commission on National Minorities
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Committee of Ukraine on Nationalities and Religions, members of the International Union public organization (IU), representatives of Dagestani and the Chechen diaspora and others.
According to the head of the department of culture of ethnic groups in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Diaspora Lyubov Zubko, her organization works on conservation and protection of the rights of national minorities living in Ukraine.
“We’re involved in the work on the commemoration of victims of the Holocaust and on the celebration of Novruz. Today we’re very pleased to learn about the protection of national rights Northern Caucasus peoples.In this regard, we have valuable experience of working with the Diaspora of the Chechen people in Ukraine”, - she said.
