Football should be not a reason for incitement of strife but a way of uniting different nations

KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On September 22nd, The Football against discrimination, unity and peace conference took place at the House of Football in Kiev.

The issues of tolerance in the stadiums during matches, prevention of discrimination among football fans and creation of the Amateur football League, which would include representatives of national minorities, were discussed at the event.

Representatives of international football organizations such as FIFA and UEFA have stressed that the Ukrainian football fans have shown themselves worthy during the tragic events in Ukraine in the winter of 2013-2014 and set an example of true unity of spirit and social consciousness.

Deputy Chairman of the International Union public organization, the Deputy of the Kyiv Council Alexander Kharchenko urged the organization to create international amateur football teams for eradication the enmity on a national basis. He also called the football Federation of Ukraine to provide more support for Amateur League diasporas.

Earlier, at the end of 2013 The International Union has organized a tournament among Ukrainian diasporas under the name 'The football without racial hatred and racism'.
