Ukraine in Arabic/ Employees of the National Cancer Institute in collaboration with colleagues from the Institute of Experimental Pathology and Oncology started the development and clinical trials of cancer vaccines a few years ago.
After the medical preparation was tasted by 120 persons physicians confirmed that cancer patients can live a long time. The vaccine is made immediately after the operation from removed malignant tumor and the patient's blood. “We operated on the patient, took his tumor, blood and got the dendritic cells for vaccine. We have received very good result – survival increased by 25-30%”, - the president of the association of Oncogynecologists, chief freelance oncogynecologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Lyudmila Vorobyova said.
A number of cancer patients in Ukraine is growing, and the disease is get more "younger". On average, 170 thousand Ukrainians annually hear the terrible diagnosis.
