Kiev/ Ukrain e in Arabic/ Turning to its members, the head of state noted that the work of the Commission on the drafting of amendments to the Main Law of the country must join the society. About it reports a press-service of the President of Ukraine.
Speaking about the need to improve the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, the President appealed to the Constitutional Commission with a proposal to protect the rights of the Crimean Tatar people as an indigenous people of Ukraine, the preservation and development of ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious identity.
Note that the recently established UK needs to work on constitutional changes on decentralization of power.
Top political leadership emphasizes that we should not confuse this process with federalization. Part of the newly created Commission was joined by the Chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov.
