Ukraine cuts import of gas by 15%

Ukraine imported gas from the European Union countries alone In January-March 2019 Ukraine reduced natural gas imports by 14.8% - to 1.55 billion cubic meters (bcm).
Over the period under review, Ukraine imported gas from the European Union countries alone, the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz said.
In particular, 951 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas was imported via the Slovak gas transport corridor, 287 mcm and 311 mcm was shipped from Poland and Hungary, respectively.
