The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has signed international agreements with the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has signed international agreements with the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco.
"During the working visit to Morocco, Deputy Justice Minister of Ukraine Valeriya Kolomiyets met with Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco Mohamed Benabdelkader. A number of international agreements were signed during the meeting," the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reports.

In particular, the agreements on legal assistance in criminal proceedings and extradition, on transfer of convicts and on legal aid in civil and commercial cases were signed between Ukraine and the Kingdom of Morocco.

According to the deputy justice minister of Ukraine, these agreements will create legal grounds for cooperation between the two states and enhance mutual cooperation in the field of justice.

“Apart from these international agreements, Valeriya Kolomiyets and Mohamed Benabdelkader signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco," the statement reads.

The memorandum will provide an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience between officials of the two ministries in legal, legislative, organizational and functional spheres.
