The new Ambassador of Palestine to Ukraine Hashem Hassan Dajani was accepted at the Foreign Ministry
On Thursday, February 20, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Ukraine, Hashem Hassan Dajani.
During the reception, diplomats discussed the prospects and state of Ukrainian-Palestinian relations in a number of areas - especially in education and trade, which are of mutual interest.
Vasily Bodnar noted the increase in trade between Ukraine and Palestine according to the results of 2019, as well as the need to continue the practice of conducting bilateral consultations between the foreign affairs agencies of Ukraine and Palestine. The diplomatic mission of Palestine in Ukraine has been operating since 2001.
