The minimum amount of unemployment benefit for the quarantine period in Ukraine is 1000 UAH

For the period of quarantine established by Resolution No. 211 and within 30 calendar days after its termination

The Board of the Compulsory State Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine for Unemployment by Resolution No. 217 of 08.04.2020 set the minimum unemployment allowance at UAH 1,000. This rule applies:

- for the period of quarantine established by Resolution No. 211 and within 30 calendar days after its termination;

- for the persons mentioned in Part 2 of Art. 22 of the Unemployment Insurance Act.

These are persons who are eligible for the minimum unemployment benefit, namely:

- insured persons, recognized in due course as unemployed, who during the 12 months preceding registration with the unemployed have insurance experience of less than six months or are dismissed from their last place of employment on the grounds stipulated by Art. 37, pp. 3, 4, 7 and 8 centuries. 40, Art. 41 and 45 of the Labor Code, as well as on similar grounds, determined by other laws;

- persons mentioned in Part 2 of Art. 6 of the Unemployment Insurance Act;

- the persons mentioned in para. 3 h. 4 tbsp. 7 of the Law of Ukraine on Internally Displaced Persons.

The Resolution shall enter into force on the day of its official publication (as of 17.04.2020, it has not been published) and shall apply from 12 March 2020 and within 30 calendar days after the end of quarantine.
