Stats: Everyday 33 drivers are detained for being drunk in Kyiv
Every day in Kiev 33 drunk drivers are detained. But this is only in the capital. Police told about the number of drunk drivers on Kiev roads.
They say that only from the beginning of the year they were discovered by 10 thousand. The number of people wishing to ride "under the fly" is growing for the weekend. Over the past Saturday and Sunday alone, patrolmen stopped 85 unscrupulous drivers. They add, sometimes breathalyzers show such a high level of intoxication that it is difficult for a person and to stand on his feet, not like driving a car.
The problem of drunken driving is acute in Ukraine. Just the other day it turned out that the 21-year-old Lexus driver, guilty of a fatal accident in the capital Osokorki, was drunk. Now he is detained, criminal proceedings have been opened in connection with the accident.
