Ukrainian small armored artillery boats was damaged and several sailors were injured in a result of vile attack of Russian forces.

Earlier press center of the Ukrainian Navy reported that Russia’s coast guard ships opened fire at Ukraine’s navy group. Damaged one “Berdyansk” small armored artillery boat.

The Ukrainian navy says Russia has opened fire on its ships in the Black Sea. “Berdyansk” small armored artillery boat was hit by the strikes, injuring a crew member, the Ukrainian navy said.

There were also reported that three of Ukraine’s ships had been captured by Russia after a day of rising tensions off the coast of Crimea.

The Gurza-class is a series of small armored artillery boats. The forward and aft sections of the boat are fitted with a BM-5M.01 Katran-M remote-controlled naval combat module. Each turret is fitted with two 30mm automatic grenade launchers. Armament of the boat also includes a 30mm ZTM-1 automatic gun, 7.62mm CT machine gun, and laser-guided man-portable air-defence systems (MANPADS).

The vessel is also armed with two Barrier anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) to fight against stationary and moving light-armoured objects, helicopters and modern armoured combat vehicles, fitted with explosive reactive armour (ERA).
