Hryvnia strengthens to UAH 22.30 to dollar
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Tuesday strengthened to UAH 22.17/22.30 to the dollar by the middle of trade, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 24.5530/24.6950, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at UAH 0.3360/0.3390.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 12:00 was UAH 21.9208 to the dollar, with 35 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $18.91 million.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on August 17, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade fell to UAH 22.15/22.35 to the dollar.
