Foreign Ministry said when the exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia
The exchange of prisoners in the format of "all for all" between Ukraine and the Russian Federation may take place before the end of the year.
This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Bodnar, reports the Khvilya portal.
He said countries could agree on a new exchange of prisoners after a videoconference on December 20.
“I hope that the results of the skype conference will lead to the release of our hostages by December 31, that our boys and girls will be at home. The negotiating group is working on this, there is no betrayal, the work is ongoing, I think we will complete it, ”the deputy foreign minister said.
According to Bodnar, the Russian Federation and Ukraine are parties to the conflict in the territory of Donbass.
He said that contact with representatives of the “DPR” and “LPR” occurs during meetings of the tripartite contact group in Minsk, in which the parties have the opportunity to discuss all issues to resolve the conflict in the Donbas.
