5 million tons of sunflower oil produced in Ukraine
In January – November 2019 Ukraine produced 5.016 million tons of unrefined sunflower oil, which is 14.2% higher than the same period a year earlier.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, IA APK-Inform reports.
In particular, in November, the production of these products amounted to 595 thousand tons, which is 10.9% higher than in the same month of 2018, and 0.5% higher than the level of October in the current year.
It is also reported that the production of margarines and edible fats since the beginning of the year amounted to 126 thousand tons, which is 2.7% higher than the same indicator last year. In November, 12.9 thousand tons of these products were produced in Ukraine, which is 2.8% higher than the result of the same month last year, and 3.4% lower than the October figure.
