The delegation appreciated the work of DUMU on the promotion of interfaith dialogue, the unity of the Muslim Ummah of Ukraine and counteract the influence of extremist ideologies. KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Within their official visit on the invitation of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) a delegation from Iraq arrived in Ukraine.
Iraqi MP headed by the Ambassador of Iraq in Ukraine Shurash Khalid visited Kiev's main Ar-Rahma mosque. There the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim told the guests about the construction of the first mosque in Kiev and the activities of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU).
