Ukraine in Arabic | DUMU celebrated The Isra and Mi'raj
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On June 18th, the solemn action devoted to the Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad was held in The Ar-Rahma Kiev’s cathedral mosque. The event was attended by representatives of the clergy, foreign diplomats, representatives of the media, and parishioners of the mosque.
The head of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims, the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim told about the night journey of the Prophet of Islam and the importance to have true religious beliefs. “The meeting the Prophet with other prophets witness the unity of of God and His religion”, he said.
Palestinian Ambassador in Ukraine Mohammed Al-Asaad congratulated those who presentedthe landmark date and described the role of Jerusalem in Islam. He noted that there are some problems at the Muslim holy city with Jewish people. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Indonesia in Ukraine, Mrs. Nining Suningsih Rochadiat also made a welcome speech.
