Ukraine in Arabic | Delegation from Odessa was struck by high level of DUMU’s development
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On February 21st, a delegation from Odessa visited The Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU). Guests were shown attractions of The Ar-Rahma cathedral mosque, and were told about the history of its construction. Representatives of The Assalam charity fund and The Shield Committee on the Protection of the rights and freedoms of citizen lead by its president Saleh Dagher, who has come from Odessa, got acquainted with the activities of the Al-Irshad school. Members of the delegation paid a special attention to literature published by DUMU. At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged gifts and agreed to meet again soon.
According to a member of the delegation and representative of the Odessa regional organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) Yuri Rabotin, DUMU is an example of serving to the spiritual beginning. "It's wonderful that people of different faiths can go to this temple and feel themselves one big and happy family" – he said visiting mosque. Guests from Odessa were welcomed by Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim and Sheikh Khusameddin Al-Khalavani.
The NUJU member also shared his opinion about Sheikh Ahmad Tamim. “This man is a professional and doing his best to unite Ukraine. We all live under the same sky. Akhmed Tamim is a philosopher, a great diplomat, a follower of the spiritual principle. I was struck by the DUMU’s publishing center. It’s nice to see that children of different nationalities study at the school Russian Arabic and Ukrainian languages", Rabotin said.
