Violator of rules broke new record in UAE

Previous one was Dh250,000 Excessive speeding, overtaking on the hard shoulder and driving recklessly can land a driver with hefty fines.
But one driver in particular broke so many traffic rules that Ras Al Khaimah Police issued him a fine of Dh1 million.
“The motorist was caught by radars on the roads, and found him committing a number of traffic violations, including speeding,” Major General Ali Abdullah Bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, told the Arabic daily Al Khaleej.
The Dh1m fine is the most expensive that Ras Al Khaimah authorities had to issue in recent years, with the second largest fine recorded at Dh250,000.
