Five protesters were detained During the speech of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the event of the Turkish-American National Committee in a hotel in New York took place a major scuffle.
It began after one of the crowd shouted: "You are a terrorist! Get out of my country! ".
The brawl was captured by surveillance cameras. They show how the guards take the protesters out of the hall. As one of the protesters noted after the incident, their goal was "to draw attention to the war crimes of the Turkish state and the violation of human rights against the Kurdish people."
As reported in the police of New York, five protesters were detained, but they were quickly released. Nobody suffered as a result of the scuffle.
