Ukraine in Arabic | US President Barack Obama gave a decree to extend sanctions against Russia

Barack Obama, by his decree on Tuesday extended sanctions against the Russian Federation, adopted in 2014.

Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ The document posted on the official White house website, informs the correspondent of UKRINFORM reported.

"I sent for enrollment in the Federal register a message indicating that a state of emergency in the country, declared by presidential decree No. 13660 from 6 March 2014, continues with a March 6, 2015," says the document, which has the status of the letter to the U.S. Congress.

Thus, the President said, "I have decided that it is necessary to continue the national emergency imposed by decree No. 13660 against Ukraine".

In the message that the President has sent to the Federal register, speaks of four decrees, which were introduced and extended sanctions against Russia for 2014.

This, in particular, the already mentioned paper No. 13660, and decrees No. 13661 from March 16 on the extension of the scope of emergency in the country, No. 13662 from March 20 (reaction to the annexation of the Crimea), # 13685 dated 19 December (additional measures for the occupation of the Crimea).

Thus, the action of these documents is extended for one year, indicated in the document.
