Ukraine in Arabic | Ukrainian Muslims took part in Peace marches
Kiev/Ukraine in Arabic/ On Sunday 18 of January Ukrainians in different cities of our country go out on Peace march “I’m Volnovaha”. Participants of March, arranged in Kiev, file of thousands walked from park of Taras Shevchenko to Independence square, where on the stage was common prayer for peace in Ukrane.
On Independence square before several thousand people spoke: Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko, leaders of all denominations of our country, among which also assistant of Mufti in Ukraine sheikh Rustam Gafury.
All who took part in this event urge to be not indifferent to tragedy, which was in Volnovaha.
In his speech sheikh Rustam Gafury expressed sympathy to the families of deceased and wished to all Ukrainians strength and patience at this hard time. He also highlighted that Muslims, who are the part of multinational and multicultural Ukrainian society, expand maximum of efforts to cohesiveness and unity of nation, in behalf of well-being of Ukraine.
“Islam is a religion of peace. We – Muslims of Ukraine, are indispensible part of Ukrainian society.And we all together pray to God, the only one Creator, about peace in Ukraine. We apply to God also for wisdom to our authorities”,- Rustam Gafury have said.
He also noticed that Muslims, as all other representatives of Ukrainian society, want to see Ukraine developed, strong and prosperous country, which could become an example to neighboring countries, in the East, as well as in the West.
He concluded his speech with such words: “God the Great and the Only, save Ukraine!”
It is to be recalled, than on 13 of January near Volnovaha, not far from checkpoint of Ukrainian military, public transport bus with passengers appeared to be under terrorist bombardment of so called DNR. 13 civilians died, and 16 were injured.
After this tragedy not indifferent arranged in social networks move “I’m Volnovaha”, urging fellow citizens to go out on the Peace March in different cities of Ukraine on 18 and 19 of January.
On one of such Peace Marches in Melitopol city took part Tatars, who live in continental Ukraine.
As “Crimea-Realias” report Crimean Tatars walked with Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar colors. Among participants was also noticed head of regional Majlis in district Zaporozhye Radvin Ibrahimov. According to media, in Peace March in Melitopol took part more than thousand people.
