Akhmed Tamim, speaking at the Al-Azhar against extremism and terrorism international conference, stressed the importance of dissemination and promotion of the ideas of Sunni Islam among all the nations. According to him, The Al-Azhar University is worthy to convey the basics of the Islam around the world.

KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Nowadays the most serious danger is to use the term ‘Islamic state’ speaking about terrorists, because they carry out bloody crimes and pursue their goals under the guise of Islam.This was stated by the mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim who outlined that with the appearance of this organization (IS) the world faced a big trouble.

Akhmed Tamim, speaking at the Al-Azhar against extremism and terrorism international conference, stressed the importance of dissemination and promotion of the ideas of Sunni Islam among all the nations. According to him, The Al-Azhar University is worthy to convey the basics of the Islam around the world.

Mufti Akhmed Tamim arrived at Cairo International Airport on Wednesday to participate in this conference, which was held under the auspices of Al-Azhar. The conference has become the world's largest event dedicated to this topic. It was attended by 700 Muslim and Christian religious leaders from 120 countries. They were looking for ways to combat terrorism and extremism. At the end of the conference, participants adopted a joint resolution, which includes the renunciation of violence and terror, and call for correction of incorrect stereotypes.
