Ukraine in Arabic | The Mufti of Ukraine spoke at an international conference in Cairo
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Due to the recent events in the world, The Al-Azhar University organized an international conference in Cairo. It was attended by religious leaders, ministers and muftis of various countries, including the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh
On December 4th, Sheikh Akhmed Tamim addressed the participants of the public meeting. In his speech, he outlined the pernicious influence of extremist organizations and the importance of the work of Sunni religious organizations
He also emphasized the importance of the spread of the true knowledge about Islam among young people.
A day earlier, on December 3rd, the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim and head of the DUMU Sheikh Khusameddin Al-Khalavani met with Sheikh Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmad Al-Toyib. The meeting was also attended by Adviser to the President of Egypt for religious affairs Dr. Osama Al-Sayed and Ambassador Abdurrahman Musa.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Ahmed Tamim presented a commemorative gift to Sheikh of the Al-Azhar University, - the model of the first capital Ar-Rahma mosque.
