Ukraine in Arabic | The delegation of DUMU visited Egypt
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On January 8th, 2014, the official delegation of Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims made a visit to Egypt. Members of the delegation headed by the Mufti of Ukraine, Sheikh Akhmed Tamim met with the Deputy Imam of Al-Azhar University Dr. Abbas Schumann.
During the meeting the two sides discussed the issues of cooperation and strengthening scientific and cultural relations between Cairo University and the Islamic University in Ukraine, as well as issues related to the training of students.
Dr. Abbas Schumann highly appreciated the work the DUMU and the curriculum of the Islamic University in Ukraine.
During the visit, the delegation of Ukraine visited the Mosque of Imam Hussein, the Imam Shafi and Said Nafis. The delegation was also invited to the Ukrainian Embassy in Egypt.
At the end of the visit of the DUMU’s delegation the Mufti of Egypt organized the farewell party.
The event was attended by members of the Ukrainian Embassy in Egypt. The Mufti of Egypt expressed his deepest satisfaction with productive cooperation of both parties. He also added that he intends to strengthen bilateral relations. Embassy officers also made a farewell speech and thanked the Mufti of Egypt for the invitation to this event.
