Ukraine in Arabic | The children's festival devoted to the Mawlid holiday held in The Ar-Rahma mosque
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On January 27, 2013, the children's festival dedicated to the Mawlid feast (the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him) was organizedin the hall of the Ar-Rahma Kiev cathedral mosque.
This festival is a continuation of a series of celebrations organized by the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU).
The program included performance of young Muslims, various games for children of all ages, puppet theater, children's painting competition and film for children about the life of Prophet Muhammad. The children sang Islamic songs, expressing their love for the great Prophet Muhammad.
At the end of the holiday the children's parents expressed their gratitude to DUMU for its attention and cultural development of kids.
