Ukraine in Arabic | Sheikh Akhmed Tamim: Celebrating Mawlid we renew the teachings of all the prophets

Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims develops dialogue between cultures and works for the benefit of the Ukrainian society.

KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ The head of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU) Sheikh Akhmed Tamim speaking at the festive event dedicated to the day of birth (Mawlid al-Nabi) of Prophet Muhammad, told the audience about the significance of this event and congratulated all Muslims. The event was held in The Ukrainian House National Center for business and cultural cooperation.

He noted that the Muslim community this is a community which brings together representatives of different ethnic groups and nationalities. “I congratulate of you with this great festive occasion, the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad. Noting it, we rejoice and proud that we are the members of the last prophet. We are delighted that by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Jesus, Solomon, David, Moses and other prophets were known. All of them had one mission to worship God”, he said.

Akhmed Tamim said that Muslims of Ukraine are proud to have the opportunity to show their culture and tradition. He stressed that the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims develops dialogue between cultures and works for the benefit of the Ukrainian society.
