The President wished the Mufti and his family good health, happiness and prosperity. KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko congratulated the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim on the occasion of 23rd Independence Day of the country.
The President wished the Mufti and his family good health, happiness and prosperity.
In his greeting Poroshenko underlined that only aspiration for freedom and understanding, spiritual unity and faith in a happy future are the guarantee of European way of Ukraine.
Besides, Poroshenko reminded of difficult trials endured by the Ukrainian people in the struggle for the right to have a conciliar, independent and democratic state.
Annually on August 24 Ukraine celebrates the national holiday - Independence Day.
