Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ In the night from 13 to 14 July in Kiev mosque Ar-Rahma" when the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Ukraine, the faithful celebrated Laylat al-Qadr.
ore than a thousand people gathered in the mosque for iftar to open the post on this special night, and to attend at the last prayers tarauih this Ramadan.
As you know, Laylat al-Qadr can be in any of the nights of Ramadan, but traditionally, Muslims celebrate her 27th of the 9th month of the lunar calendar.
After iftar certificates were given to young reciters of the Holy Quran, which took part in the annual competition. The winners of the contest received prizes and certificates.
The remaining participants received certificates and prizes. Especially significant event of this night for Muslims was the opportunity to see the hair of the Prophet Muhammad. After Isha prayer Muslims read Tarauih and completed Khatm of the Quran.
Since the Night of Qadr is a special night that all good deeds and supplication rewarded a thousand times more than any other night of the year, Muslims are trying to use this time to read the pleas for themselves, their families and for peace in Ukraine.
