Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU) represented by Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim on behalf of Ukrainian Muslims appealed to the Crimean Tatars

KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU) represented by Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim on behalf of Ukrainian Muslims  appealed to the Crimean Tatars with sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who had been killed during the Stalin’s deportation om May 18th,  1944.

“Many years far away from home have become an ordeal and great grief for Crimean Tatars but they withstood and preserved their traditions. These people through the years of deportation carried the love for their native land. But now they’re faced with new challenges. We hope that the rights of the Crimean Tatar people will be restored and every Muslim would become a full member of society, a full citizen of our country.

Let the Almighty Allah grant the Crimean Tatars strength and patience, peace and stability, as well as the well-being of theirs families. Let’s not repeat those terrible events of bygone days, which brought so much suffering to these people”, - the DUMU’s statement said in its official website.
