Ukraine in Arabic | Kiev Muslims made the holiday prayer
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On August 8th, thousands of Muslims took part in a prayer dedicated to the completion of the compulsory fasting month of Ramadan in Kiev. The worship took place in The Ar-Rahma Kiev mosque of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU). At the end of the holiday prayer the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim making a festive sermon addressed the audience.
“Dear Muslims! At this holiday all of us should pray for each other and ask the God to accept those good deeds. This is an example of expressing our gratitude to the Almighty Allah. This is an example of solidarity and brotherhood of Muslims. Ramada is the month of goodness and knowledge. It is the month of blessings. During Ramadan we have been learning to do good deeds, re-educated and protect ourselves from committing sins. And we should to do this after its end”, he said.
The Mufti of Ukraine urged the believers to help each other, give alms, in particular, zakat al-fitr.
After the worship all presents had an opportunity to see a hair from the beard of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him!), which is an extraordinary boon for every believer.
