The event began after the evening namaz with the reading of the Qur'an, after which he made a lot of warm words of congratulations and greetings.
The mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim, speaking to the guests of the evening, said that Ukrainian Muslims, as an integral part of the multinational, multicultural Ukrainian society, celebrate the month of Ramadan, as Muslims all over the world.
"Muslims everywhere official invite diplomats, representatives of religious denominations, government, social and public organizations in order to exchange views and develop a spiritual relationship," - said the Mufti of Ukraine.
