Ukraine in Arabic | Concert dedicated to Mawlid al-Nabi held in Kiev
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On January 23rd, a festive event dedicated to the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Mawlid al-Nabi) was organized at The Ukrainian House National Center for business and cultural cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by accredited in our country diplomats, government representatives of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU), national communities and others.
The concert program was opened by reading verses from the Koran and the short film ‘Our life is a love for Prophet. Then The Muhammadiya artistic ensemble performed religious songs, devoted to Mawlid al-Nabi.
The honored guests of the eventguests made a congratulatory speech addressed to the audience. Deputy Director of the Department of Religious and Ethnic Affairs of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine Maksim Budarin said the state appreciates the contribution of Muslims in the Ukrainian society and wished everybody all the best in connection with the auspicious holiday.
Chairman of the National Expert Committee on the protection of public morals VasiliyKostitsky congratulated the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim and all Muslims withthe Mawlid al-Nabi. He wished success to the Muslims of Ukraine in future.
A congratulatory speech was also made by the head of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims, Sheikh Akhmed Tamim. He told about the role of the Mawlid al-Nabi in the Islamic community and thanked everybody who has come and organized the event.
