Ukraine in Arabic | Azerbaijani delegation met with the Mufti of Ukraine
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU) met with the Azerbaijani delegation headed by the chairman of the State Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic on the work with religious associations Elshad Iskanderov.
During the meeting the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim briefed the guests on the activities of the DUMU and the life of Ukrainian Muslims. Also, the guests were told about building of the first capital’s mosque, the development of the dialogue with other faiths and about spreading the true knowledge of Islam.
All this work is carried out through the participation of DUMU’s representatives in public councils at the various ministries and by the participation in international and regional conferences, publishing literature on Islam in different languages and social and active work management.
