Ukraine in Arabic | A delegation from the Al-Azhar University came to Ukraine for Ramadan

This visit was organized by the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU). Representatives of this organization met the guests at the territory of Ukraine.

KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On June 29, the first day of Ramadan, the delegation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and waqfs of Egypt and the Al-Azhar University arrived to Ukraine. The group consisted also from hafizes and preachers of the Koran.

This visit was organized by the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU). Representatives of this organization met the guests at the territory of Ukraine.

After that the delegation got acquainted with the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim who warmly welcomed the Egyptian brothers. Further, the delegation was accompanied by the head of the department for external relations of DUMU Sheikh Khusameddin Al-Khalavani.

. He told the guests about the structure and organization, as well as about the program and plans of the DUMU for the holy month of Ramadan.

The Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims constantly cooperates with reputable Islamic organizations, in particular with the Al-Azhar and the Egyptian muftiat, in order to improve and enhance the level of Islamic education.

The Al-Azhar University located in Cairo is one of the eldest in the world. He is considered the most prestigious Muslim Theological Academy. The University is directly related to one of the most famous in the Muslim world the Al-Azhar mosque.
