Lawyer: it is necessary to initiate a meeting of the leaders of all states of the world to stop the war in

lawyer Olga Selykh urges every leader of the world, not to waste a single minute, and within your competence to do everything to stop the war in Ukraine

Never have the nations of the world had

so much to lose, or so much to gain.

Together we shall save our planet, or

together we shall perish in its flames.

Save it we can – and save it we must –

and then shall we earn the eternal

thanks of mankind and, as

peacemakers, the eternal blessing of God.

John F. Kennedy, welcome address

to the UN General Assembly,

September 25, 1961

It was said 61 years ago though it is so relevant today.

Let me introduce myself. I am Olga Selykh, a woman who was born in Luboml,Volynregion, Ukraine. I have spent all my conscious life in one of the best cities of Europe, such as Kyiv. I am the owner and general director of the construction company KYIV INVESTBUD LLC, and a lawyer. On February 24, 2022, I was to catch a plane from Barcelona to Kyiv using my return ticket. I failed to come back home as the war began in my country. On February 26, 2022, I temporarily moved to Italy.

I still can't believe that in today's civilized world, an entire nation can be destroyed in front of the whole mankind. In my opinion, the measures and sanctions imposed by Europe and the world are too meager and it cannot stop Russian President Vladimir Putin, who decided to conduct the Special military operation in Donbass, citing Article 51 of the UN Charter, but in fact, it is a war against Ukraine.

I draw your attention that according to the signed Memorandum on Security Assurances in connection with Ukraine's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons adopted on December 5, 1994, Ukraine, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America greeted Ukraine’s accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons as a non-nuclear-weapon State, and due to Article 1 of this Memorandum reaffirms Ukraine their commitment to respect the independence, sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine in accordance with the principles of the OSCE Final Act. Pursuant to Article 2, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States affirm their commitment to refrain from threatening or using force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine other than self-defense or otherwise under UN Charter.

In accordance with Article 5, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine not to use nuclear weapons against any State party of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Non-Nuclear Weapons, except in the case of an attack on themselves, their territories or territories under wardship, their armed forces or their allies by such a State jointly or in alliance with a State possessing nuclear weapons.

In accordance with the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe on August 1, 1975, the countries participating in the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe reaffirm their aim to help improve relations and ensure the conditions in which their peoples can live in true and lasting peace, protected from any threat or encroachment on their security.

In accordance with this act of Section III, the participating countries consider the inviolability of each other's borders, the inviolability of the borders of all European states, and therefore they will refrain in the future from any encroachment on their borders.

In accordance with Section 8 of this Act, States-Parties have the right in terms of complete freedom to determine their internal and external political status without outside interference and to pursue political, economic, social and cultural development at their own discretion.

Concerning the terms of the UN Charter, one of the main principles is ensuring Peace and Security.

Considering the above mentioned, we see that all norms of international law have been ignored and are not being complied with by the Russian Federation, which has signed them and guaranteed their implementation.

Moreover, seeing the imperfections of international law, where member states guarantee peace and security around the world, they cannot use proper military resistance to the killer country as Russia and its accomplice Belarus, although they have also made such commitments.

As of the 20th day of the war in Ukraine (March 15, 2022), more than a hundred children, thousands of civilians and soldiers of the Ukrainian army were killed, dozens of Ukrainian cities and villages were razed to the ground, and in particular, all of the country's infrastructure was destroyed. Hiding from the bombings, people are dying in basements from hunger and cold. Enemy troops are seizing nuclear power plants, de-energizing and intimidating not only Ukraine but the whole world with man-made and environmental catastrophes. How many more children must be killed and orphaned, women raped, and the bodies of our soldiers mutilated thus the world leaders to take active action to end the war?

Despite sanctions imposed by Ukraine's allies, the world serves as an observer of military invasion to a peaceful country that has NEVER violated or discriminated against the rights of Russian citizens and any other national minorities in Ukraine, interfered with the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation or any other country in the world.

I urge every leader of the world, not to waste a single minute, and within your competence to do everything to stop the war in Ukraine. To do this, I propose:

1. Initiate the immediate convening of the UN General Assembly and initiate amendments to the UN Charter on the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine and COMMIT Russia to resolve all disputes amicably in court. It is necessary to provide liability of participants for non-fulfillment of this obligation.

2. Or initiate a meeting of all the country leaders, including Ukraine and Russia, to sign a new international act to end the war in Ukraine, which will provide for the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine within 24 hours and resolve disputes in court. In case of non-compliance with this requirement, the countries that have signed this ACT have the right to use weapons and the army without warning to suppress Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine.

3. The world States must terminate all international agreements with Russia and prohibit any business relations with this country until the dispute is resolved in court and Ukraine is fully compensated for its losses as a result of an aggressive military invasion.

4. Citizens of the Russian Federation, as accomplices in this crime, must return to their country, until the dispute is resolved in court and Ukraine is compensated in full as a result of the military invasion.

5. Citizens of the Russian Federation shall not have the right to enter the territory of the state that signed the ACT on the cessation of war on the territory of Ukraine, paragraph 2 of this letter until the dispute is resolved in court and Ukraine is fully compensated for military invasion.

I am convinced that in the process of uniting the efforts of all states to end the war and achieve peace, new proposals and ideas will inevitably emerge. The most important thing is not to procrastinate and not to start a nuclear war. I can say one thing that Ukrainians will never "kneel" to the Russian Federation, and accordingly, the war will continue until all my people are killed. Knowing putin's authoritarian regime, he will never recognize Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia, so he will destroy everything on this earth which is the entire world.

I believe and know that by working together we can achieve peace and stop war.
