Earthquake's toll rise in iraq-iran border
An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 points that occurred near the border between Iran and Iraq killed at least 145 people. This is reported by Reuters with reference to the state media of both countries.
According to a spokesman for the national disaster management organization Behinam Said, at least 141 people were killed in Iran, more than 850 were injured.
The earthquake was felt in several provinces of Iran, but the most affected province of Kermanshah, which declared a three-day mourning.
According to him, more than 97 people were killed in the city of Sarpol Zahab, about 15 km from the border with Iraq. It is noted that as a result of the tremors, the main hospital of the city was seriously damaged, but hundreds of wounded people continued to be taken there.
