Ukraine in Arabic | Thousands of militants killed in Donbass since beginning of conflict
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ The Ukrainian armed forces have killed about 8,000 Russian-backed insurgents since the beginning of the conflict in the Donbas in mid-April, the press center of the ATO said on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
"The losses of militants since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation are estimated at about 8,000 people," reads the statement.
According to the report, the total number of shelling incidents since the announcement of a temporary ceasefire (from 18.00 on September 5) has already reached 3,819.
As reported earlier, two Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and another five injured in the Donbas conflict zone in the last 24 hours. Ukraine has lost more than 100 soldiers killed and 600 wounded since the start of a supposed ceasefire in the conflict zone on September.
