KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On November 2nd, a final of boxing tournament among youth for the Cup of the Chechen diaspora was held in The Spartak sports complex in Kiev. The prize-winners were determined in several weight classes. All finalists received commemorative medals, certificates and cash awards. Prize winners also were awarded with   prize cups.

The tournament was organized by The International Union public organization (IU).

"This tournament should unite all nationalities, peoples, fraternal nations. Nowadays our media spread some negativity, attempts to call for some kind of violence, fighting, and revenge. Generally, we must always seek common ground. Something that can unite us, lead to agreement and peace. Sport unites, educates, forces to respect each other, so we would like to unite our people”, the head of the Diaspora of Chechen people Daniil Goncharov said.

According to the chairman of the organization Salman Sadaev, the aim of this tournament is to unite a society. “This is a main thing for us. This was an initiative of the Chechen diaspora, Ukrainians, Azerbaijanis and Armenians. We decided to start with the children's tournament. The next step will be youth one. I think it is very important that the children see how the Chechens relate to Ukraine, how they try to unite Ukrainian society. This is the most important thing of tournament”, he said.

By observing the happy faces of the tournament participants, the wholehearted support of the children, it becomes apparent that the tournament has satisfied its task.
