Ukraine in Arabic | The counting of votes continues in Ukraine
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ The Central Election Commission has processed 98.21% of electronic protocols from precinct election commissions as of 12.00 on Wednesday, according to the commission's website.
The People's Front, which won 22.16% of the vote (3,424,417 votes), holds the lead, whereas the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko is second, with 21.82% of the vote (3,368,328 votes). Samopomich Union is third, with 11.01% of the vote (1,700,326 votes).
The Opposition Bloc received 9.35%, or 1,444,250 votes, Oleh Liashko's Radical Party - 7.44%, or 1,149,468 votes and Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union - 5.69%, 878,341 votes also win parliamentary seats.
The other parties and blocs have failed to pass the 5% election threshold, to which the nationalist Svoboda party is close with 4.72% of the vote.
