Ukraine in Arabic | Meeting of the Commission on Ethnic Relations was carried out

Commission on International Relations of the Public Council under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine consists of representatives of 20 civil society organizations representing national minorities of Ukraine. KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ On November 24th, a regular meeting of the Commission on International Relations of the Public Council was held in the premises of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine in Kiev.
On the agenda of today's meeting were the following questions:
- Development of effective interaction commission on interethnic relations with the state commissioner for Ethnic Policy and the Department for Ethnic Policy, Religions and Foreign Ukrainians.
- The necessity of creating a working group to develop a comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation and the establishment of a permanent interaction and collaboration with interested non-governmental and civil society organizations.
- The need to involve companies and organizations representing national minorities to system monitoring, tracking and recording cases of xenophobia and racial intolerance.
- Development of the concept of cooperation with the media and attracting of journalists, media managers for publications, television and radio programs which educate tolerant outlook.
