Zelensky asked Macron to keep searching for Ukrainian sailors
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky urged President of France Emmanuel Macron to continue the search and rescue operation as regards six missing citizens of Ukraine - members of the crew of the Bourbon Rhode vessel, which sank in the Atlantic Ocean at the end of September.
The President of Ukraine sent a letter to Emmanuel Macron, expressing his gratitude for the efforts of the French rescue services to rescue the sailors and search for the bodies of the dead.
“However, the fate of six Ukrainians remains unknown. I appeal to you, Mr. President, also on behalf of the families of Ukrainian citizens - victims of this tragedy, to continue the search and rescue operation and to take additional measures if necessary,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine emphasizes that the life of every Ukrainian is his most precious value.
