World media called the possible causes of the crash of Boeing UIA
World media write about the possible causes of the crash of an airplane with 168 passengers and 9 crew members on board near the Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran.
The Boeing 737-800, owned by Ukraine’s International Airlines, crashed immediately after takeoff, shortly before that, the pilots stopped responding to the dispatcher’s calls, and the liner signal disappeared from FlightRadar24 radars.
According to Arabic and English media reports, the crash occurred shortly after Iran’s missile attack on an American military base in Iraq. Many countries suspended flights of their aircraft in the airspace of Iran and Iraq after the Iranian army attacked military bases on Iraqi territory. However, for now, the cause of the fall is supposedly called a technical malfunction.
The Iranian state agency IRNA published preliminary findings of the commission investigating the causes of the crash of Boeing 737. Based on the testimony of witnesses and information from the dispatching service of Imam Khomeini International Airport, the commission tentatively believes that the cause of the accident was the ignition of one of the engines.
Judging by the video that appeared on Twitter, after the crash, the plane exploded and caught fire.
"Now rescue teams are working on the spot, they are putting out the wreckage of the plane, after which the search operation will begin," the airport’s security service said.
