Ukrainians signed a petition on dismissing Interior Minister

It has reached 25,000 signatures required for consideration

A petition for dismissing Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, which was posted on the website of the President of Ukraine in the Electronic Petitions section, has reached 25,000 signatures required for consideration.

The petition was made public on the presidential website on June 2, its author is Roman Vasylenko.

“[This petition seeks] immediate removal from office, to be followed by the dismissal of Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Borysovych Avakov,” the petition says.

Avakov may be dismissed by the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, if 226 MPs vote for his dismissal.

Earlier ex-president of Ukraine announced return to Minsk talks.
