Ukrainians do not trust Russian media more than courts - the poll
The majority of Ukrainians do not trust the courts of all Ukrainian institutions, according to a poll conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in conjunction with the Razumkov Center Sociological Service.
"More than the Ukrainian courts do not trust the Russian media alone," the poll said.
According to the survey, citizens most distrust the judiciary (balance of trust-distrust -62%), political parties (-54%), local courts (-53%), commercial banks (-51%), prosecutors (-50%) , the state apparatus, officials (-51%), the Supreme Court (-42%), the Anti-corruption Court (-42%), the National Anti-Corruption Agency (-40%), the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (-40%), the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Ukraine (-36%), the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (-36%).
"Perhaps the main problem for the next year is how to transform these bodies and restore people's trust," said Irina Bekeshkina, director of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation.
