Ukrainian soldier wounded During attacks in Donbas
Russia's hybrid military forces on September 30 mounted 19 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 24 times on October 9. A Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on October 10.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, and small arms. Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Krasnohorivka, Zolote, and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Pisky, Lebedynske, Vodiane, Pyshchevyk, Novotroyitske, Mykolaivka, Pavlopil, Novohnativka, Novoluhanske, Hladosove, Mayorsk, Krymske, and Novozvanivka. "Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions three times near Novotroyitske and Pyshchevyk, using grenade launchers of various types and rifles," the report said.
