Ukrainian industrial branch grew 5.6% in annual terms

In the same time compared to the previous month the industrial output in January fell by 17.5%

The country’s industrial output in January 2017 grew 5.6% in annual terms, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

The industrial output in Ukraine in January 2017 compared to the same month in 2016, without the adjustment for the effect of calendar days, has increased by 5.6% in annual terms, according to the agency’s website. The data show that given the adjustment for the calendar-days effect, the industrial output in January 2017 increased by 5.2% in annual terms.

Compared to the previous month, December 2016, the industrial output in January fell by 17.5% without seasonal adjustment, or by 1.5% with such adjustment, the State Statistics Service wrote.
